An ET son of the famed The dam, "Dynette 3041", is earning her keep at Gill's in SD. Bryan Gill says, "She is the best cow to ever walk the pastures here." 7 Lots from the 3041 cow sold for over $45,000 this past spring.
The sire, Sakic took the RA breed by storm. He was Six Mile's high selling bull at their 2007 sale. Genex purchased him for $36,000 for 1/2 interest. We seen Sakic at the World Angus Forum in 2009...WOW!
We purchased 3 embryos at the Black Hills Stock Show and were lucky enough to get a heifer and this bull. Nordiques has been a standout here. He is deep bodied, moderate framed, with plenty of muscle. We used on heifers and cows.
Nordiques average bw on his 2011 progeny is: Bw on heifers is 75.02 lbs
and on bull calves: 75.15 lbs...that is consistancy at its best
and the weaning weight is: heifer calves is 639 lbs and his bull calves
come in 660 lbs. Moderate frame, lots of volume. Nordique has progeny in
2 other herds and the reports are just as good!!! We are excited.
